When we met James before the wedding, we expressed that we were interested in a photographer that blended in with the guests, and used a photojournalistic style. We had a great feeling that he would be perfect for our day. Working with James was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning. The whole day was a little bit of a "blur." It was so wonderful and everything we ever dreamed of, but it went by so quickly. We were never able to properly thank James. He was outstanding. I have never seen someone work so hard at anything! He was completely unobtrusive and yet he was everywhere taking pictures in the background. We never noticed him there, which was wonderful because we could truly be in the moment. He worked tirelessly from the minute he arrived to the minute he left. He was fun and very patient with us.

Kate is in London for five days visiting Molly... Two other Harvard med students who were in the wedding (Kristen and Rachel) are also visiting Molly. The point I want to get at is . . . Kate has a copy of ten or so prints for each of them. So they are enjoying the work of our wedding photographer! Thanks again for everything. We will recommend you any chance we get.

Hi James - they look great!!! Judging from the wedding I went to yesterday, where the photographer was telling the groom how far to stick his hand in his pocket at one point, your unobtrusive yet professional style is certainly preferable to me!

James never assumed the attitude that he knew what was best. He listened to my requests, offered his suggestions, and improvised when he saw fit. The results were a mix of beautifully framed and natural-looking posed photos, energetic candids, and small close-up shots that highlighted tiny details other photographers might miss.
