Anything I know about wedding photography, I learned from Datu Ramel and Robin Lavender. In fact, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, I would encourage you to hire me through their studio. Of course, you can also hire me directly. But if you hire me through the studio, you will get the full customer support and expertise of a highly respected studio that's been doing albums, greeting cards, and the whole shebang for over twenty years. Hire me directly or through the studio and you'll get awesome photos either way.

Photography "style"
My photography style is to make you happy with the photos. That is why I value any communication we have beforehand, whether face to face, by phone, or by email. Classic elegant portraits, fun candids, artsy details - - all of these and more are within my range.

Engagement Portrait - Rehearsal - Getting Ready

These three categories are certainly not essential for your wedding photography, but can be a fun addition, and an opportunity for more informal shots. Any of these could also be a time to touch base and talk before things get underway.

Ceremony
I try to be discreet and respectful whether the ceremony takes place in a church, synagogue, hotel, or backyard. Let me ( AND YOUR GUESTS !!! ) know when we can use a flash.
Formal Portraits
Black and white, color, whatever you want. I try to make it fun and shoot quickly.Reception
Documentary or traditional. Arty, or simple and direct. There are many ways to shoot an event, so I try to get a feel for what you like and shoot appropriately.

Table Shots
Table shots are less common these days, but they do have their place. If you have certain guests seated together it can be a good way to get a shot of them together. However, in general, people don't always like having their meal interrupted, and the table shots are often less interesting than more candid shots of the same folks having fun before or after eating. Maybe pick two or three key tables instead of every one.

Media Formats
Usually, I shoot digital, but if you want 35 mm or medium format film, let me know.
